The eldest son of former President Rodrigo Duterte also said that investigations appear to be selective and biased, seemingly targeting only Davao City—even though it is clean and free from ghost projects—unlike other areas where anomalies have been reported.

He also criticized government agencies, including the Ombudsman, questioning why they appear eager only when it comes to Davao City, while in other places they suddenly claim to lack funds for transportation and hotel accommodations.

Duterte further challenged: “Since you are already in Mindanao, why not check the projects of Cong. Dalipe, which I’m sure are as polished and refined as his ever-growing belly.”
